Roblox DONT SPLASH: New Stages and Your First Run
The expanded Poolrooms route asks beginners to do more than jump. Here’s what the reported new stages change, with light spoilers and clear safety advice.

A spoiler-light update guide
DONT SPLASH’s expanded Poolrooms route means beginners need more than reliable jumping: the reported additions introduce moving surfaces, pattern recognition and an exit objective. Our recommendation is to treat your first attempt as a learning run, not a race, and check which map you are joining before following an older walkthrough.
Reporting note, November 2, 2026: We verified the Roblox listing and compared published update coverage and stage guides. We could not launch Roblox or personally test the new stages, so this is a source-checked guide, not a hands-on review. The practical suggestions below are recommendations based on documented hazards, not claimed playtest results.
The premise is deliberately uncomfortable. You cross platforms above flooded rooms while trying not to attract a creature associated with splashing water. The Roblox description identifies the Poolrooms and House of the Locust as atmospheric inspirations; this is not a cheerful swimming simulator.
We will explain the kinds of challenges you should expect without supplying the final puzzle solution or describing the ending. If you prefer discovering everything yourself, read the identification and parent sections, then jump in.
Find the correct DONT SPLASH experience
Start with DONT SPLASH by Bacon Theory. Its Roblox place ID—the number identifying that particular experience—is 119958473240233. The description includes “DONT SPLASH V2.” Checking the creator and number is more dependable than matching a thumbnail or a seasonal title tag.
The creator link on that listing leads to the Bacon Theory community. Use that connection when checking announcements rather than assuming a similarly named account represents the developer.
Community coverage distinguishes this experience from It Hears The Water and the unrelated Dont Spill the Water! That matters because controls, rewards and advice can become mixed together in search results. TheGameTake’s identification guide explicitly separates these games and points to the same Roblox place.
Before starting, read the map name and difficulty shown in your own lobby. A guide describing Poolrooms is not automatically a guide to Farm, and a video recorded before the expansion may stop before the challenges you are trying to understand.
What the new stages actually change
Published guides consistently describe five added Poolrooms sections: Moving Platforms, Drifting Platforms, Memory Bridge, Crushing Walls and Locked Exit. They place these after the earlier platforming route and valve sequence. See the dated Poolrooms walkthrough for its source notes.
The precise update date is less clear. One observed update log dates the expansion to October 24, 2026, while Bloxron’s screenshot-backed coverage labels the relevant panel October 23. We would not turn that disagreement into a definitive launch timestamp. The useful point for beginners is the documented expansion, not an unsupported claim that it arrived today.
There is also newer seasonal content to distinguish. Bloxron reports a Fall Update with a separate 18-stage Farm map and Pumpkin Collection running through November 14, 2026. That report is not our own availability test, so check your current lobby and event panel before planning around it.
This is why older warnings that Farm failed to load on October 24 should not be treated as a current verdict. Likewise, “nine stages” in Poolrooms coverage should not be read as the total across every map.
For your first session, our recommendation is Poolrooms on the easiest available setting. Keep the experiment simple: learn one map’s movement and objectives before adding seasonal collection goals or chasing faster clears.
Read the hazards before committing to a jump
The later rooms broaden the challenge beyond stationary stepping stones. The following descriptions come from the published stage walkthrough; the suggested approach is our interpretation of those hazards, not a tested optimal route.
- Moving Platforms: The landing surface changes position. Watch where your destination is heading, rather than jumping toward the place it occupied a moment earlier.
- Drifting Platforms: Directional forces affect your position. Allow room to correct your movement instead of approaching every edge at full commitment.
- Memory Bridge: A displayed safe route makes observation important. Give yourself time to understand the pattern rather than following another player without looking.
- Crushing Walls: Moving walls create a timing problem. Identify the opening and its cycle before entering the hazard.
- Locked Exit: Reaching the final area is not the whole objective. Read the current instructions and gather what your run requests rather than copying somebody else’s solution.
A useful practice goal is to identify why an attempt failed. Was the landing moving away? Did a surface push you sideways? Did you step forward before understanding the pattern? Answering one question gives the next attempt a purpose.
Avoid using a fixed completion-time target for your first clear. An experienced player’s edited video is a poor benchmark for someone learning camera control, reading prompts and deciding where to land.
Survival habits for a beginner’s first run
Community documentation describes the creature as blind and responsive to water noise. The monster guide therefore makes dry movement central to survival. Think of landing accurately as both platforming and avoiding attention, rather than treating the water as an ordinary floor.
Pebbles are documented as distractions, not weapons. The pebble guide describes throwing them into water away from your intended route and watching the creature’s response. A lure should not be treated as a guaranteed safe passage.
- Check your controls before a difficult section. Locate jump, item selection and interaction prompts while you have room to think. Do not assume a keyboard shortcut from another game applies here.
- Choose the landing before taking off. Ask where you intend to stop, not simply whether you can clear the nearest gap.
- Observe from a suitable pause point. The documented route includes sinking surfaces, so do not assume every platform is somewhere you can stand indefinitely.
- Coordinate distractions. If playing with friends, agree who is throwing and which direction the group intends to travel. Unplanned throws make an already tense situation harder to interpret.
- Delay purchases until you understand your mistakes. A movement error, missed instruction or forgotten pattern calls for practice first, not an immediate spending decision.
For device-specific actions, follow the prompts visible in your own session. The published controls guide distinguishes PC and mobile inputs and warns against borrowing a sprint instruction from a different experience.
A short parent note—and a firm download warning
For parents: DONT SPLASH’s own description emphasizes an eerie atmosphere. Preview it with a child who dislikes being hunted or feels uncomfortable in unsettling spaces. Agree that leaving is fine; finishing a run is not worth pushing through distress.
Check the experience’s current maturity label and descriptors in Roblox rather than relying on a search snippet. Roblox explains what those labels mean, while its parental controls guide covers content restrictions, communication and spending settings.
Do not download unofficial scripts, executors or “undetected” survival tools. Roblox’s cheating and exploiting warning says exploits violate its rules and can expose players to malware and password theft. Report suspicious offers rather than testing them.
The best first-run plan is modest: confirm the correct experience, choose your map deliberately, read each new hazard and learn one useful lesson per attempt. That approach preserves the surprises without leaving you completely unprepared.
